The Carson Valley Motor Lodge is a 75 room facility located on the grounds of the Carson Valley Inn Hotel/Casino/RV Resort. The Motor Lodge was built in 1993.
Check-in for the Motor Lodge is in a historic red brick registration building - [Click for story] - located on Highway 395 with panoramic views of the scenic Sierra Nevada mountain range and the 10,000+ foot snow-capped Job's Peak. Built in 1926, this cheerfully restored house offers a sun room for relaxing and reading, and a fireside sitting area.
The Carson Valley Motor Lodge offers park-at-your door convenience. Exterior entry to all rooms and just two stories combine for easy room access. The facility is next door to a modern convenience store (The Carson Valley Market) and just a three-minute walk (or take the afternoon and evening shuttle) to the main Carson Valley Inn complex. Motor Lodge guests have full access to the Pool/Spa/Fitness Facility in the main hotel. Access is with your room key.
Motor Lodge rooms are 254 sq. ft. All rooms have either one king bed or two queen beds, 25 " color TV with remote, pay-per-view movies, wireless high speed internet access, phone data port, coffee maker and supplies, and clock radio. Bathrooms are 77 sq. ft. with tub/shower combinations, hair dryers, irons and ironing boards. The two mini-suites are 440 sq. ft. and include a bedroom area with one king bed plus a sitting room.
