Participate in Nevada Poker Tournaments

Play cards, socialize and win cash in our Nevada poker room.

The Carson Valley Inn's Poker Room is located down the steps and elevators next to the Guest Services counter. Our spacious poker area features one 7 Card Stud table and 3 Texas Hold'em tables. The room includes televisions for sports viewing, height-adjustable chairs, complimentary beverages for players and a daily poker tournament at noon. The entire area is non-smoking.

POKER TOURNAMENTS:

An opening Shootout Hold'em tournament is held every day at noon. The buy in is just $16 + $4 ($20 total) and the winner takes the pot!

No-limit Texas Hold'em tournaments are held every Tuesday and Thursday night at 6 p.m. The buy-in is $20 + $5 ($25 total) with one $20 re-buy. The top 3 - 5 places receive prize money each night. There's also a 500-chip bonus for tournament participants who log an hour of play time between 3 and 6 p.m.

SPECIAL GAMES:

• A 7-Card Stud Hi-Lo Split game is every Monday evening with a $1 - $5 limit.
• A 4 x 8 1/2 kill Hi/Lo Omaha game starts at 5 p.m. on Wednesdays.
• A no limit Hold'em game is spread on Friday evening at 7 p.m. with $1 - $2 blinds and a $50 to $200 buy in.
• A no limit Hold'em game is also held on Saturdays starting at 6 p.m. The first Saturday of each month features $2 - $3 blinds with a $100 to $500 buy in. All subsequent Saturdays offer $1 - $2 blinds, with a $50 to $200 buy in.

EXTRAS & PROGRESSIVES:

• Every winning hand of four-of-a-kind earns a 1,000 point ($10 value) comp bonus which is added to your account on the spot. So, be sure to present your INN Club card whenever you start play.
• The CVI Poker Room has eight progressive jackpots: One royal flush in each of the four suits plus any straight flush in each of the four suits. Each of these jackpots has a house-provided starting amount and the jackpot progresses daily based on a small rake from every poker hand that goes over $20.

MASTERS PUTTING CHALLENGE:

• Thursday - Sunday, April 5 - 8, 2012.
• Any player who makes a hand of tens-full through four-of-a-kind in 7-Card games and any straight flush in Omaha spins the wheel to see what you can win – IF you make the putt!
• Watch the Masters while you play. Our five televisions will be tuned to the action for your viewing pleasure.
