GUEST ROOM ATTENDANT

Description: Clean hotel/motor lodge guest rooms. Duties include making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms.
Requirements: Heavy lifting required.
Shift: Part time on call, day shift. Weekend and Holiday work required.

 

FRONT DESK CLERK/PBX/RESERVATIONIST

Description: Work hotel front desk with checking in and out guests. Make and confirm hotel reservations, assist in taking calls from promotional mailings, call guests back to complete reservation information and other paperwork.
Requirements: Computer experience required.  Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.  Work well under pressure. Previous phone experience helpful.
Shift: Varied shifts, full-time. Weekend and Holiday work required.

 

Food and Beverage

BANQUET SERVER

Description: Responsible for serving food and beverages to banquet guests. 
Requirements: Excellent customer service skills required. Over 1 year previous food serving experience preferred.
Shift: On call, varied shifts. Weekend and Holiday work required.

 

COOK - KATIE'S

Description: Responsible for food preparation for Katie’s, our high-volume, 24 hour restaurant. Prepare food items per ticket order as required and to current menu specifications for guests of Katie’s
Requirements: Posses and maintains culinary tools to perform the necessary job functions. Must have 5 or more years in high volume hotel restaurant/casino or in individual restaurants experience. Must be able to read, write and understand English. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds or more. Team player.  Work well under pressure.
Shift: Swing shift, full-time. Weekend and Holiday work required. 

 

HOST/CASHIER – KATIE’S

Description: Promptly and courteously greet and seat guests. Perform cashier duties for departing guests. 
Requirements: Excellent customer service skills required. Previous experience preferred. Must be good in public areas working with guests.
Shift: Swing shift, part-time. Weekend and Holiday work required.

 

SERVER ASSISTANT – KATIE’S

Description: Assist food servers in Katie’s Restaurant. 
Requirements: Excellent customer service skills required.
Shift: Swing shift, part-time. Weekend and Holiday work required.

 

General Support

CARSON VALLEY INN MARKET CLERK/CASHIER

Description:
Work at Carson Valley Market selling gas and food and beverage items to customers.  
Requirements:
Duties include promptly and courteously greeting customers, operate cash register with cash handling and check customer ID’s on alcohol and tobacco sales. Must be at least 21 years old. Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.  Able to handle occasional stress. Able to lift 20 lbs.
Shift: Part-time, approximately 10 to 20 hours per week. Must be flexible in scheduling to cover employee vacations and sick days. Weekend and Holiday work required.

 

PUBLIC AREA CLEANING SPECIALIST

Description: Responsible for the deep cleaning of the public areas of the casino.
Requirements: Heavy lifting required. Must be at least 21 years old. Must be good in public areas working with guests.  Prior cleaning experience helpful.
Shift: Swing shift, full-time. Weekends and Holidays work required.

 

LAUNDRY ATTENDANT

Description: Assist in the cleaning of hotel and restaurant sheets, towels and linens. 
Requirements: Responsible to operate washers and dryers and irons. Must be able to read computer touch pads and product labels. Must be able to lift, squat and be on feet all day.
Shift: Swing shift, on call. Weekend and Holiday work required.
