CVI - Food and Beverage

COOK - KATIE'S

Description: Responsible for food preparation for Katie’s, our high-volume, 24 hour restaurant. Prepare food items per ticket order as required and to current menu specifications for guests of Katie’s
Requirements: Possess and maintains culinary tools to perform the necessary job functions. Previous high volume hotel restaurant/casino or in individual restaurants experience preferred. Must be able to read, write and understand English. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds or more. Team player.  Work well under pressure.
Shift: Varied shifts, full-time. Weekend and Holiday work required. 

 

COOK – CV STEAK

Description: Responsible for maintaining CV Steak’s service standards, including food safety and sanitation standards. Responsible for preparing superior food quality items in a high volume steak house per ticket order as required and to current menu specifications for guests. 
Requirements: Minimum 1 year experience in Hotel/Casino restaurants; steakhouse and fine dining preferred. Possess and maintain culinary tools to perform the necessary job functions. Able to work at a high rate of speed and accuracy. Must be able to maintain a positive attitude at all times and work will under pressure. Must be able to read, write and understand English. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on occasion. Team player.  Work well under pressure.
Shift: Swing shift, full-time. Weekend and Holiday work required. 

 

BANQUET COORDINATOR

Description: Setup/Teardown of Banquet Events, heavy lifting, move chairs and tables.
Requirements: Be a detailed and self-motivated person. Must be at least 21 years old.  Excellent customer service skills required. Able to lift 50-75 pounds.   Computer and basic Audio/Visual knowledge preferred. 
Shift: Flexible schedule/On call Varied shifts, Weekend and Holiday work required.

 

HOST/CASHIER – KATIE’S

Description: Promptly and courteously greet and seat guests. Perform cashier duties for departing guests. 
Requirements: Excellent customer service skills required. Previous experience preferred. Must be good in public areas working with guests.
Shift: Swing shift, part-time. Weekend and Holiday work required.

 

SERVER – KATIE’S

Description: Responsible for selling and serving food and beverages to guests. 
Requirements: Excellent customer service skills required. Over 1 year previous food serving experience preferred. Must be at least 21 years old.
Shift: Part-time/Swing shift. Weekend and Holiday work required.

 

SERVER ASSISTANT – KATIE’S

Description: Assist Food Servers in Katie’s Restaurant. 
Requirements: Excellent customer service skills required.

COFFEE BAR ATTENDANT - JOB'S PERK

Description: Responsible for preparing and selling assorted coffee beverages and snacks for guests in Job's Perk.
Requirements: Must have excellent customer service and communication skills. Must be at least 21 years old. Sandwich making experience.
Shift: Varied shifts/part-time. Weekend and Holiday work required.

 

DISHWASHER

Description: Cleaning of company china, silverware and pots and pans according to industry standards and health/sanitation codes.  Sweeping, mopping, emptying garbage.
Requirements: Team player, self motivated. Able to lift 50 pounds. Bilingual a plus.
Shift: Varied Shifts/full-time. Weekend and holiday work required.

CVI - General

REVENUE AUDITOR

Description: Team player responsible for auditing revenue outlets including gaming on a daily basis. 
Requirements: Prior gaming audit experience preferred. Food and Beverage audit experience a plus. Computer skills including Excel skills a must; requires math skills and attention to detail.  Must be at least 21 years old. Gaming card required.
Shift: Full time. Must be flexible and able to work weekends and holidays.

 

ACCOUNTING/AP CLERK

Description: Responsible for timely and accurate processing of invoices, vendor payment and statement reconciliations. May also support management and operations in other accounting and non-accounting duties as assigned.
Requirements: Accounts payable experience and education required. Must have excellent customer service and communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft office and excel required. General accounting, micros knowledge and casino experience a plus. Must be 21 years or older. Nevada Gaming Card required.
Shift: Full-time/Day shift. Weekend and Holiday work required.

 

PUBLIC AREA CLEANING SPECIALIST

Description: Responsible for the deep cleaning of the public areas of the casino.
Requirements: Heavy lifting required. Must be at least 21 years old. Must be good in public areas working with guests.  Needs to be physically active for entire shift. Previous cleaning experience preferred. 
Shift: Full-time/Swing shift and Graveyard shifts available. Weekends and Holidays work required.

 

CVI - Hotel

BELL/VALET PARKING ATTENDANT

Description: Park and retrieve guest vehicles. Assist guests with luggage.
Requirements: Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.  Must have valid Nevada driver’s license and clean driving record.  Able to operate manual transmission. Requires heavy lifting and mobility.  Must be at least 21 years old.
Shift: Varied shifts/Full-time. Weekend and Holiday work required.

 

FRONT DESK CLERK/PBX/RESERVATIONIST

Description: Work hotel front desk with checking in and out guests. Make and confirm hotel reservations, assist in taking calls from promotional mailings, call guests back to complete reservation information and other paperwork.
Requirements: Computer experience required.  Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.  Work well under pressure. Previous phone experience helpful.
Shift: Varied shifts /Full-time and Part-time available. Weekend and Holiday work required.

 

CVI - Casino

GUEST SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

Description: Duties include guest services for the casino including cashiering and Player club activities
Requirements: Must be at least 21 years old.  Previous cash handling or Cage experience is preferred.  Excellent guest service skills and gaming card required.
Shift: Full time/Graveyard relief. Average hours per week are 30-35 hours. Must be flexible in scheduling. Weekend and Holiday work required.

 

POKER DEALER/DUAL RATE SUPERVISOR

Description: Deal Poker game or games and Supervise when needed.
Requirements: One year minimum experience preferred. Supervisory skills a plus. Must be at least 21 years old. Gaming card required.  Must have friendly outgoing personality and excellent customer service skills. Must be able to work any shift, weekends and holidays included.
Shift: Part-time/Varied shifts.

 

SLOT TECH

Description: Under the direction of the slot shop supervisor, position is to maintain and repair, reel and video slot machines, vending and change validators.       
Requirements: Ability to understand written and oral instructions. Be proficient in basic troubleshooting. Diagnose malfunctions and perform needed repairs. Ability to assist guests and employees with prompt courteous service. Previous slot experience preferred.  Must be at least 21 years old.  Gaming card required. Salary DOE.
Shift: Full time/Varied shifts.  Weekend and Holiday work required.

 

Sharkey's Casino

COOK - JACKPOT CAFE

Description: Responsible for food preparation for the Jackpot Cafe. Prepare food items per ticket order as required and to current menu specifications for guests of Sharkey’s.
Requirements: Possess and maintains culinary tools to perform the necessary job functions. Previous high volume hotel restaurant/casino or in individual restaurants experience preferred. Must be able to read, write and understand English. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds or more. Team player.  Work well under pressure.   
Shift: Varied shifts, full-time. Weekend and Holiday work required. 

 

PUBLIC AREA CLEANING SPECIALIST

Description: Responsible for the deep cleaning of the public areas of the casino.
Requirements: Heavy lifting required. Must be at least 21 years old. Must be good in public areas working with guests.  Needs to be physically active for entire shift. Previous cleaning experience preferred. 
Shift: Full-time/Average hours per week are 32-40 hours/Prefer to be flexible in scheduling but primary hours would be for swing shift with hours of 4 pm to 2 am. Weekends and Holidays work required.

Shift: Graveyard – Part Time , Weekend and Holiday work required.
