Casino Count/Drop Team Member
JOB SUMMARY
The Casino Count Room Team is responsible for dropping and counting the currency for slot machines, kiosks, and table and card games while adhering to strict drop and count times and procedures monitored by the Nevada Gaming Control Board. The team sorts, wraps, transports and records all casino currency in compliance with all standards. The job is team oriented, highly regulated and under constant observation.
**scheduled shift time will range between 2am-2pm throughout the week

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Promote positive guest relations by projecting a courteous, helpful attitude
- Organize currency and paperwork
- Process currency and other information through currency counting machine
- Verify fills, credits, markers, payments and cash drop totals in computer
- Count, wrap and balance currency
- Identify counterfeit bills
- Show willingness and effort to work as a team
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be at least 21
- Excellent people skills and ability to courteously and efficiently interact with fellow employees, management and guests to ensure a positive experience
- Must pay attention to detail including cleanliness and safety
- Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity and confidentiality
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and listen attentively
- Must follow verbal and written directions, policies, and procedures
- Knowledge of 10 key operation and basic math skills
- Must possess basic computer skills for efficient use of programs and applications
- Attention to detail and tolerance for repetitive work
- Ability to walk, bend, stand, stoop and exert well-paced mobility throughout the shift
- Ability to lift, handle and carry a minimum of 25 pounds on a regular basis and up to 50lbs occasionally
CERTIFICATIONS
Must be able to obtain and maintain Nevada Gaming Control Board Employee Registration (cost = approximately $130 renewed every 5 years)
