Guest Services Representative | $15.50hr + tips
The Cage Cashier/Guest Services Representative is responsible for providing exceptional guest services in person and over the phone, accurately processing various cash related transactions and assisting with players club accounts and marketing promotions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide courteous, efficient service while assisting guests
- Answer guest questions and be knowledgeable about property offerings/events
- Count/balance the starting fund of the assigned cage window and record/balance all currency transactions in the computer
- Sort/bag loose coins and bundle paper money
- Maintain and complete the required gaming and company forms and reports
- Reconcile daily summaries of transactions and balance all currency transactions against cash on hand
- Perform and be accountable for players club transactions including setting up new accounts, processing comps issued to guests, issuing gift cards, etc.
- Accountable for replenishing the cash drawer, processing slot bank check in/out, verifying multiple departmental tills
- Cash checks for guests (personal, cash advances, or payroll) in accordance with the company check cashing policies and procedures
- Perform functions of main banker when necessary
- May assist with count room and/or drop duties for an assigned shift
- Responsible for sensitive key box control when assigned
- Adhere to Title 31 regulations and all applicable Federal and Gaming Control Board laws, regulations, and/or ordinances
- Show willingness and effort to work as a team
- Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be at least 21
- Cash handling experience required
- Basic computer skills and ability to use 10-key
- Knowledge of Title 31 preferred but will be trained
- Excellent people skills and ability to courteously and efficiently interact with fellow employees, management and guests to ensure a positive experience
- Must pay attention to detail including cleanliness and safety
- Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity and confidentiality
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and listen attentively
- Must follow verbal and written directions, policies, and procedures
- Ability to lift, handle and carry a minimum of 25 pounds
- Ability to bend, stand, walk and exert well-paced mobility during entire shift
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays
LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS
- Must be able to obtain/maintain NV Gaming Control Board Registration (cost = approximately $140; renewed every 5 years)
